About Attorney William Pesch and Guam Family Law Office

Upon graduating from college in 1976, I came to Guam as a high school Biology teacher. In 1979, I left the teaching profession to pursue a law degree from the American University Washington College of Law in Washington D.C. Upon graduating from law school in 1982, I clerked for Judge Joseph Ryan, a senior judge for the
Washington D. C. Superior Court. I returned to Guam in January 1983, and over the ensuing years worked for a private firm, as a public defender, and as the legal counsel to the Guam Department of Education.

In 1995, I established the Agana Legal Clinic, a private law firm specializing in meeting the diverse needs of Guam's families, civilian and military alike. In 2014, I renamed my practice the "Guam Family Law Office" where I continue to offer a wide range of legal services for Guam families, and to those residing elsewhere who choose to obtain a Guam divorce. I was raised in a military family, facing many of the same challenges experienced by all military families. For this reason, I am very empathetic to the special needs of military members and their dependents and I have a vast knowledge of both Guam and federal laws that impact military families.

I also offer professional mediation services for family-related matters through Pacific Arbitration and Mediation Services.

About Attorney William Pesch and Guam Family Law Office

Read honest reviews from people who have consulted with or retained Attorney Bill Pesch.

This review is a bit delayed, however I finally got to writing it. Mr. Pesch and his team helped resolve my ongoing divorce situation which was pending for several years. With a bit of coordination, some information and advance payment, he was able to get matters started and ready to go once I arrived in Guam. He is straightforward and gets to the point. He also helped me organize the Apostille. The fees are very much worth it as he takes care of the whole process in a relatively quick amount of time while keeping you updated on each step. He takes a big load off your chest and helps you gain freedom which is priceless. Would definitely recommend him. Also made the most of the trip to Guam and had a nice memorable vacation.

Expeditious, if YOU have all your ducks in a row. I have to admit i dragged on my pending divorce but as soon as i submitted my paperwork and payment it took less than or about a month to get my final decree back. I'll also add Atty Pesch's uncontested divorce fee is reasonable especially since i was the only one paying for it.

Very detailed also if I still needed more assistance to understand completely you were there to do so and never made me feel like I shouldve known. Always available and when wasnt going to be would inform me in advance that he would not be available at the office. But ALWAYS responded. Great attorney! Would definitely recommend! Really helped to relieve the stress during this moment. Thank you Attorney William Pesch!

As an American I felt trapped in a bad marriage in the Philippines, I turned to Mr Pesch to handle my divorce as all my research showed it was going to be complicated, expense and a long process anywhere else in the states. He explained and guided me through every step. Was a easy and speedy service. Deserves more than the 5star rating.

Attn. Pesch made my divorce proceedings go easier than expected. With my situation I was married in Japan and in the U.S. Was divorced in Japan but not in the U.S. Attn. Pesch guided me thru the process of the divorce procedure in Guam. With me living in Japan, he referred me to a digital notary, which was extremely helpful. A true professional and quickly processed my divorce proceeding. After fulfilling my 7 day requirement, he filed my case with the court the next day. My divorce was finalized within 5 working days. Highly recommended!

Mr. Pesch did an absolutely phenomenal job on my divorce. My situation was complicated, but he was thorough, very helpful, communicative and made sure everything went smoothly. The turnaround time was unbelievable—it took only 11 days from day one of my 7-day residency requirement to having the final decree signed. Highly recommended!!!

Bill was an excellent attorney for my divorce. He was recommended to me by a friend whom had also used his services for her divorce and gave great reviews. I corresponded to him via e-mail after I have sent in my worksheet (provided by his website) and continued to have the consultation over e-mail. I did go into his office to meet him and his secretary in person and they both were amiable and answered any questions I had. Bill kept me up to date to any of the progress on my paperwork/documents and I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly it all happened. It was an uncontested divorce without children so I'm sure that made it easier for the severing of ties. I would absolutely recommend Bill to anyone needing his services.

Attorney Pesch provides an awesome service. From the initial email, online consultation, remote notarization for my spouse, to the final divorce decree all went well. Bill was responsive, provided excellent guidance and settled to petition unbelievably fast for my case. He suggested using a remote notary service so my spouse would not have to travel to Manila, that saved time and worked out very well. Everything went smoothly; we travelled to Guam (beautiful island), met with him and enjoyed our 7-day vacation. It took only (1) one week from signing to get the final decree, and the certified copies were sent to Philippines about a week later, amazing! If you want a quick divorce with no issues, go with Bill. His office assistant was friendly and very helpful too. Attorney William Pesch is "the man"!
